UPVC - Unplasticized Poly Vinyl Chloride, this directly denotes, it is absolutely Environmental Friendly. Due to its unique properties UPVC is widely recognized as one of the best and most fit-for-purpose materials for doors and windows.
UPVC is used as replacement of wood in construction, such as in double glazed window sills and in what is known as vinyl siding in USA. It is a versatile material that can be manufactured in many colours or made to look like other materials (e.g. wood). UPVC is also used instead of cast iron for certain type of heavy duty plumbing and draining.
